It is terrible, to have to rend yourself several times over to prove your worth to somebody you have injured gravely. It is necessary however, and you must atone for the harm caused, not for your benefit. You must atone. And there is no time limit. You must understand. It is terrible to encounter inflexibility in the face of dynamic human nature. It is terrible to have to be subject to double standards. It is terrible to be cast as one aspect of your character. It is terrible to know with certainty. It is terrible for your personhood to be deliberately misunderstood. It is terrible to be misheard and miscast constantly. It is terrible.
